Our Tech Stack in 2024

Here's a look at the technologies powering Polarboard and why we chose them.

Backend: Laravel

Laravel gives us a productive, well-documented framework with excellent tooling. The ecosystem is mature and the community is helpful.

Frontend: Livewire

Livewire lets us build reactive interfaces without the complexity of a separate JavaScript framework. It's perfect for our needs.

Database: PostgreSQL

Postgres is reliable, performant, and handles our data model well. We haven't had to think about database issues much.

Hosting: AWS

We use a combination of AWS services for hosting, storage, and CDN. It scales well and gives us flexibility.
